Oleificio Pantaleo's leading philosophy is producing first quality oil to enrich the tables of the lovers of Italian food. This task has been handed down from generation to generation and carried with the passion typical of the Apulian land. It was set up in 1890 and started by a wholesale. Even today it can boast a great name both in the eastern countries and other places thanks to the traditions kept unchanged and the continuous search of innovations, the two leading elements for this company. The conservation of a constant quality is certified by both the respect of the H.A.C.C.P. standards and quality systems but also by the great care employed in the improvement of our abilities aiming at completely meeting our customers' demands. Our company is part of two natural consortiums aiming at the preservation and control of the extra virgin olive oil quality, certified by AIAB for the organic productions. Among our products it is worthwhile mentioning: Dolio, a DOP, first rate extra-virgin olive oil created by the careful selection of the best olives from the hills of Brindisi, slightly fruity perfect on raw vegetables and fish based dishes. ZIRAIA, the extra virgin olive oil from biological farming is an excellent oil produced by olives grown and picked according to the strict methods of biological cultivation; a safe product, sweet and bodied taste, perfect for the children's diet. The fruity extra virgin olive oil meets the demands of the most discerning palates as it is fragrant, bodied and with an aftertaste of raw artichoke. To finish, the extra virgin olive oil is a rare delicacy that springs as a result of an accurate selection to guarantee an excellent quality standard, perfect raw for every dressing but also to be used in preparation of dishes.
