Everybody knows that in Italy as in any other part of the world, to work it is necessary to invent or at least reinvent a job. In the past the family's business was only limited to rabbit breeding and selling the alive animals to the slaughterhouse. Now the times have changed and the market needs are different. It is necessary to reach the large scale retail trade or the final customer, without intermediary, without too many wastes, in order to offer a first quality product.The Proada family breeds its rabbits with fodder, with scrupulous care, without using antibiotics. The farm personally slaughter its own animals, making salami like ‘salamele', liver mortadella or cotechino, roasts and hamburgers sold in a provincial sales point in Osnago.
